Government has prescribed the list of documents required with application of Aadhar Card. Seeing the nature of task UIDAI has accepted lots of documents as valid documents as identity proof for registration of Aadhaar card or making of new Aadhaar card in the UIDAI centres. UIDAI accepts several documents as proof of identity and proof of address and proof of date of birth documents for the Aadhaar card. Government has made the Aadhaar enrolment is free of any cost. You can go to any authorized Aadhaar enrollment center anywhere in India with your identity and address proof. UIDAI accepts 18 PoI (Proof of Identity), 33 PoA (Proof of Address) documents and UIDAI accepts 8 document types as Proof of Relationship.
