The Aadhaar Card is necessary for every Indian citizen to have the nationality proof. Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is providing Aadhaar card to all Indian citizens. Aadhaar card status can be tracked online with the help of Aadhaar enrollment receipt. If you didn’t get the Aadhaar card then you can check your Aadhaar card status. Aadhaar card is a 12 digit unique number which was allotted by the UIDAI on behalf of Indian Government.
Aadhaar card can be used as identity proof in all over India. Enrollment of Aadhaar card is free. You can enroll any time for the Aadhaar card, there is no last date for this and it’s a continuous process. For checking your Aadhaar card status you need your enrollment id and date of enrollment.
Now you can check your Aadhaar card status by sending SMS as “UID STATUS ” (e.g. UID STATUS 12345678901234) to 51969. If your Aadhaar card has been generated and SMS is sent from registered mobile number then you will receive the Aadhaar number otherwise only current status will be communicated.
