Aadhaar card NOT Compulsory for Land, Property Registration

After recent Supreme Court Order that Government should not make Aadhar Number Compulsory for essential services like gas connections, vehicle registration, scholarships, marriage registration, salaries and provident fund or for availing of government benefits and services. And also with the change in Central Government Aadhar Card Scheme might be put on the back burner. So dream of earlier UPA Government of making Aadhar as a base for giving different subsidies can remain dream only.

Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number is a 12-digit unique identification number or card which is issued by the unique identification authority of India on behalf of Government of India. So many States Governments has decided to make compulsory Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number in the registration of land from January1, 2014. The land reform and revenue department main aim of the compulsory of Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number to bring transparency in the all land deals in the states or to stop fraudulent transactions where a party sells the same property or land more than once. By the making compulsory for the Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number in the land registration process it stop all the benami transactions and also the black money. By the help of the Aadhaar card or the Aadhaar number the all immovable properties of an individual across the state will be identify. And also with the help of the Aadhaar card it will be stopped same land sold to different-different customers by using different-different identity proof and also there is no chance of duplicity in the registration of the land or the sales or purchase of same plot at twice. By the use of Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number in the land registration process it will stop cheating by sellers in absence of single verification system. And also it makes it a simple process of registration by the use of the Aadhaar card in the land registration process before this in the registration needs of the lots of documents or identity proofs just like driving licence and PAN card etc.

All registration offices in the state will be informed that the guidelines related to the registration with the Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number will be followed from January onwards. In this the both buyer and seller are required to present their Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number at the time registration of the property and also the witnesses also need the Aadhaar card in the registration process. And also if any individual which is involved in the registration process of the property but denies to present it Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number it will be considered as an offence and an FIR will also be filled against that individual or that person. So the Aadhaar card or the Aadhaar number compulsory for the land registration process for the both purchaser and seller and also the witnesses also need the Aadhaar card or the Aadhaar number. The Aadhaar card or the Aadhaar number very helpful for all the people there are no need of the any other document or any other identity proof for the registration process.
